At this time of year when we gather with friends and
family to count our blessings, we wanted to take a moment to give thanks

After the turkey has been eaten and you've hit the malls for Black Friday, remember to "shop small" on the fifth annual
Small Business Saturday
on November 29. Created to promote small businesses during the holiday
shopping season, Small Business Saturday is all about supporting your
local community. In that spirit, we'd like to use the day as an
opportunity to give back. This year we've partnered with The Alternative House to collect gloves and hats for local children in need. Simply bring in new children's gloves and/or hats on Small
Business Saturday and for each item received we will donate $1 to The Alternative House. To thank you for helping us pay it forward, everyone who makes a
book donation will be entered to win a
$50 gift certificate to our store!
Whether you shop with us or another local small business, we hope you'll join us in shopping small on Saturday!
